The Only One To ALWAYS Believe

The only One to ALWAYS believe is God. That includes God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit and God*s Word, the Bible.

Romans 3:4a: God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; . . .

Jeremiah 17:5: Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Proverb 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Psalm 108:12: Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

The most important thing for you to know and believe is whether or not you are a child of God and on your way to Heaven. The only one to believe about that is the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:16: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

If the Holy Spirit tells you that you are a child of God, it is true. If some man tells you that you are a child of God, or that he is a child of God, it may or may not be true. Do not take these things on the word of a man alone. No man can look upon your heart and you cannot look upon the hearts of others.

1 Samuel 16:7: But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

We can only believe men SOMETIMES. If a man says that he is a Christian that is one clue that he might be. If he behaves like a Christian that is another clue. Men can lie with their words and they can lie with their actions.

Romans 10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

If a man says that Jesus is his Saviour it is one clue. If he says that Jesus is his Lord and Saviour, that is a good clue. If he behaves like Jesus is his Lord and Savior, that is an even better clue. If he tells you Jesus has changed him and his life, don*t fully believe him until he demonstrates it.

Matthew 7:20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

We have greater assurance that we and others are the children of God when the Holy Spirit produces Biblical fruit in us and them. It needs to be words but it needs to be more than words.

James 2:18: Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

If a man tells me that he has received Jesus and is a child of God and demonstrates that he is, I tend to believe Him.

Read also john 1:12, Romans 10:13, John 6:37 and Ephesians 3:8.

Receiving Jesus, calling upon His Name, coming to Him and having faith in Him are the same thing. If a man tells me that he became a child of God in any other way, he is not a child of God. If a man tells me that he became a child of God because of something that his parents or his pastor did, He is not a child of God. If he tells me that he became a child of God in a ceremony that he does not remember he is not a child of God. He is deceiving himself and trying to deceive me.
